Explore Innisfree through one of our many tour options. Free Docent Tours provide a great introduction to the garden and its history. Our popular curator’s tours dive deeper into the people and ideas that shaped this extraordinary place. Private tours, both guided and on your own, can be scheduled throughout the season. We also welcome school groups at no charge.

Docent Tours
Beginning in June, docent-led introductory tours are available on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and are included with admission. Docent tours are FREE with registration. They begin at the visitor kiosk in the parking area and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Curator Tours
Innisfree offers guests the chance to learn about the garden during monthly Curator Tours. The cost is $35 per person and $25 for Innisfree members. Please review our Events Calendar to find available tours and to register in advance. Space is limited, and they fill up fast.
Private Tours
Innisfree welcomes groups and can accommodate buses of any size. Groups may schedule a private guided tour with our landscape curator, which lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The cost of our guided tour is $35 per person and includes admission to the garden. For smaller groups, there is a flat fee of $420.
Bus Groups and Large Parties
Innisfree welcomes groups and can accommodate buses of any size. Groups of 12 or more must make reservations. In addition to scheduled guided tours, bus groups may elect to walk through the garden on their own. We suggest allocating approximately 1.5 hours for the visit. Picnicking is available in our designated picnicking area.
School Groups
Admission to Innisfree is always free for school students. Interested teachers must schedule their visits in advance.
