Walk around the garden while being serenaded by classical Japanese instruments and music. Join us in hosting Issui Minegishi in her only North American performance of the Ichigenken; which is a rare stringed instrument traditionally played for Japan’s scholarly and ruling elite. Like the Shakuhachi (bamboo flute) which was invented by Zen Buddhist monks, spiritual music is played on the Ichigenkin making this a truly special opportunity for anyone interested in music, historic preservation, meditation, or wellness modalities relating to sound.
